Silver Spire, the Neverwinter Nights persistent world

  1. All actions take place in-character, for in-character reasons. PvP (Player vs Player) is not allowed, only CvC (Character vs Character). Disagreements and fights between characters is permitted, but as soon as it becomes a personal matter between the players behind the characters, it is no longer acceptable.

  2. The team reserves the right to ban anyone who is disrupting play.

  3. No faking of races or special abilities. You cannot play your character as if they have an ability which the NWN engine would not otherwise allow them to have. (i.e. No vampires who drink other character's blood. Your character can pretend to drink someone's blood, but he is not a vampire).

  4. Special backgrounds require DM approval. Any background that involves planar travel, time travel, the direct intervention of a god (whether an FR god or not), or any other large inexplicable phenomena must be approved by a DM. Note: characters from the greater continent of Faerun are the exception to the planar travel restriction. Spire is a splinter of the Forgotten Realms universe and as such, characters can find themselves in Spire after mysterious circumstances.

  5. Please take an original character name appropriate to the setting. No deliberate puns, proper names from novels, no numbers or symbols, no funny colors are permitted.

  6. "Griefing" is not permitted in any form. This can be summarized as actions by one player which directly impedes another player's ability to enjoy themselves during the course of playing the game. Actions of this sort will not be tolerated and will result in banning.

  7. All players must be of eighteen ( 18 ) years or older to log into the Silver Spire server. There are no exceptions to this rule. Intentionally permitting, by direct action or concealment of fact, any individual to log in who can be classified as a ‘minor’ according to United States law will result in immediate revocation of all login privileges and deletion of all accounts.

  8. One Player Per Gamespy account. Only the person who sent in the application, and was accepted by the Team, may use the Gamespy account for creating characters and playing on Spires. This means you can not let anyone else (including family members) use your account to either:
    • Play one of your established characters
    • Create a new character just for themselves

  9. ALL those who wish to play on Spires MUST send in an application, which will bind them to the rules and regulations governing the use of this server. If someone uses your account, by any means, you may be held accountable for their actions, and the consequences, whether it be by accident, id-theft, etc. Protect your account, and protect your passwords as you would any other important ID information. Any breach in this rule, may result in immediate withdrawal of your characters from our vault, and a banning order placed on your Gamespy account, without written notice from the Administration of Silver Spires.
